Control Point surveyed over 700 Acres of the former GATX Corporation oil tank farm, which has been abandoned for years. Now development plans are set in motion for a private mixed-use project with the result of approximately 330 acres of land suitable for development and construction. Prior to construction, approximately 6.5 million cubic yards of processed dredge sediment and other materials will be imported to the site. This will make the site 14.5 feet above sea level. Control Point has been the surveyor of this site since 2004 and is currently still under contract.
