Since 1980, Rhode Island Resource Recovery Corporation has owned and operated the Central Landfill. In order to determine the capacity utilized in the past year and how much capacity remains in the landfill, Control Point provides an aerial topographic survey of the approximately 5,000 acre site. For this to be possible, Control Point’s field crew recovers previous points and then sets new points by utilizing GPS Survey Instruments in order for the area to be photographed aerially.
